I provide all rods , flies , tackle etc… You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You will need to bring your own waders.

Fly , Spey and gear fishing

I fish using several different tactics including bobber and jig , trolling plugs ,drifting , swinging flies , nymphing and bead fishing. Also fly and spey casting instruction for beginners available .

The boat

letmrun whitewater raft drift boat setup. This boat is very safe and stable with a full floor for standing. Very comfortable to fish out of!

The fish

Steelhead although not easy to catch are worth ever hour fished when you land one ! I have had some amazing days on this river. The Grande Ronde steelhead are more aggressive than steelhead in other rivers this far from the ocean. Aggressive enough that at times they will hit skated dry flies. I have been fishing this river for 20+ years and will do my very best to put you in as many fish as possible!

What you need to bring

A Washington fishing license and steelhead permit , waders , cold weather gear , rain jacket , chap stick , sunglasses (polarized are best) and any alcoholic beverages.
